Position Summary:
The Accounting Administrative Assistant will assist in supporting the day-to-day functions of our organization. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit administration.
Responsibilities:
Support daily administrative tasks and organizational operations
Assist with maintaining and organizing files, records, and databases
Perform data entry into QuickBooks and Excel to assist with generating financial reports and statements. Track and update financial transactions, maintaining organized and accurate financial records.
Bank reconciliation
1099’s creation
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate bookkeeping skills
Effective written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
Must have experience with QuickBooks Desktop version
Passion for social impact and nonprofit work
Preferred Skills:
Basic data analysis or reporting skills
Prior volunteer or internship experience in a nonprofit setting
